We all know that Google is the most power full search engine available on Internet.
Customizing search criteria will even enhances the power of Google, and this process of customizing search criteria is named as Google hack.
(Don’t worry, we are not going to do any illegal things, everything is legal as long as we are changing the search criteria. Remember that Google is open search engine and we can search what ever info we want.)
So let’s begin with the basics.
Google stores the information available on entire internet in its database called as index, for ease of understanding I can say that its same as index of our notebook where we find the details by page no.
When we search on Google, it displays closest data from its index. Even though some time it misses the data we actually want. And remember that Google always ignores common words and characters, such as “where” and “how” etc.
By restricting search criteria we could found more accurate information that we needed, for this purpose Google has officially announced some operators called as Advanced Google Operators.
I will not cover much about these operators and will try to restrict scope of this article to the hacking search criteria only. If you want more details on advanced Google operators then visit this link.

Let’s begin with some examples.
Example 1
Suppose you want to find a song… lets say of movie named Ghajini, than try this in your Google search box. “intitle:Index of” ghajini mp3 make sure you include quotes as well. And see the list of entire index having folder named ghajini. in this way you can easily find thousands of songs, video, software, keygens and cracks.
(So how does this works?)
“intitle:Index of” ghajini mp3 this tells Google to search for a folder named Ghajini with file type of mp3. intitle says that it should be in title only, index of says to search for folder index, Ghajini says the name of folder and mp3 says the file extension.
Consider the next example, it will even simplify it
Example 2:
Suppose i want to download Photoshop software than? Try below criteria
“intitle:Index of” photoshop.rar in most cases software’s are stored as zip or rar file on ftp server hence I have used it as photoshop.rar, the logic remains same. Intitle: says that it should be in title only, index of says it should be in folder index, and photoshop.rar says the file name.
(Suppose in this way I didn’t get software I want then what to do?)
You can even simplify it by adding folder name in search criteria.
“intitle:Index of” downloads photoshop.rar ,this just works as above, but in addition it searches for photoshop.rar in all index having folder name downloads.
